1. Kayak Through the Al Thakira Mangroves
Located 60km north of Doha, visitors can kayak amongst the lush greenery of Al Thakira Mangroves from the Aqua Sport base camp, learning about this delicate salt-water ecosystem, which attracts migratory birds such as herons and flamingos. Qatar’s National Museum, the Museum of Islamic Art, housing 14 centuries of the finest art and artefacts from across the Islamic world. The magnificent and imaginatively presented displays have earned recognition among the world’s top cultural institutions. Housed in a modern architectural masterpiece designed by famous Chinese American architect I.M Pei, this art collection provides an impressive Islamic culture experience in just a few hours.
